Farewell Malody

Hello everyone. Lime here. This is a letter for you guys, and especially, for those who accompanied me in these two years in the Malody community. And yes, it is time for me to say goodbye, finally. I planned to at least stay in the server when I quit moderator three weeks ago, but now I realized that I ought not to belong to here anymore. I shall take my step out of this community.

When I first joined this server, I was completely new to the game and innocent of global community. Luckily I got a lot of help from @Confused and @SN. They are the most important people that guided me into the global environment and shaped my manner on the Internet. They are also early testers of my app and nice senior moderators in the Malody community. Here I want to express my most sincere gratitute to them.

My first ever public app is Malody Chart Editor, which I started coding a week after I joined Malody. I want to also thank @PaperKnife, @Himori, and @Koishi for helping me test the app and providing me with motivation to carry on my projects. Their suggestions and bug reports helped me gain a lot of experience. I would not reach my current level in coding without their help.

I joined the moderation team one year and a half later. It was a really tough and annoying job so I have respect for the moderators that are active or used to be active. The chat would be much messier without the work from @brokenpoems, @Olakasa, @Kril, and other moderators. It is my honor to protect a community together with these great people.

My two stable charts were published this year thanks to @yoshilove, a patient, kind, and experienced publisher that checked my charts thoroughly every time and pointed out many tiny issues. Also special thanks to @LuiCat for their wonderful work to the game and for sharing some related technical details with me.

The Malody community is a desert, disguised in attractive mirages that fade out as you get close. Storms are the usual dominator, yet occasional rains passing by can also nourish the flowers to blossom, before they wither away soon. The best seeds shall not grow healthily in this barren land.

Best wishes to the Malody community. It definitely has the potential to become an oasis. If that happens, I will be glad to come back. For now, it is time for my departure. Love you guys, and fare you well.
